The Email Link Appender in Insentric automatically adds tracking parameters (like UTM tags) to every link in your Marketo Engage emails—so your campaign reports stay clean and accurate without manual editing.
Quick Start — Set up in 6 steps

Go to Marketo Configuration → Email Link Appender.

Enter your tracking token: Usually
{{my.utm}}
. -
Optionally exclude domains or URL parameters you don’t want to modify.

Toggle on extra settings: Include non-templated emails and Auto-update tracking if needed.

Choose emails to update: Set a Start Date or handpick individual emails.

Click Save.
Insentric will start scanning and updating email links automatically.
Set up Email Link Appender — Configuration details
1. Add your tracking token
In the Parameter Token Name field, enter the token created in Marketo, such as {{my.utm}}
.
2. Exclude certain links (optional)
Prevent updates to links that already contain tracking. Use:
Setting | What it does |

URL Parameters | Skips any link that already has one of these parameters. |
Excluded Domains | Skips links from any domain you list here. |

3. Extend coverage (optional)
By default, Insentric only updates emails created from Marketo templates. To include non-templated emails, switch on this setting:
4. Auto-update recent edits
When enabled, Auto-update tracking re-checks emails edited in the last 2 hours and reapplies tracking as needed:
5. Choose which emails to update
Use Start Date to update only emails modified after a set date (e.g., Jan 1, 2024):
To pick emails manually, turn on Select individual emails:
6. Save your settings
Click Save to apply your configuration. Insentric will scan, update, and publish emails automatically.
