Link Sharing Dashboards — why it matters

Insentric offers multiple ways to share dashboards with stakeholders. This is useful for getting insights to the right people quickly, without needing manual downloads or extra logins.

Share with a Public Link

Follow these steps to create and share a public link to a dashboard:

• Open the dashboard in your Insentric Reporting workspace.
• Click the three-dot (⋮) icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard view.

• Hover over the Share option. Two choices will appear:
  • Copy permalink to clipboard and share: Copies the dashboard’s unique link to your clipboard.
  • Share permalink by email: Opens your email client with the link pre-filled.

Note: The recipient may need access permissions, depending on your workspace settings.

Embed on External Sites

Embedding dashboards lets you show them directly on an external website like a portal or internal platform. This saves users from having to log in separately for updates.

• Click the three-dot (⋮) icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
• Select Embed Dashboard from the dropdown menu.
• Copy the iframe embed code and paste it into your website’s HTML.
• Optionally, set domain restrictions to limit where the dashboard can be embedded. This adds an extra layer of security and prevents unauthorized use.
