Manually Refresh Data — why this matters
Sometimes, you need to update the data in Insentric to match changes in connected platforms like Marketo or Salesforce. A manual refresh keeps your reports accurate and up to date.
You might need to manually refresh data when:
- You made changes to fields or objects in Marketo or Salesforce.
- You added new assets like forms, campaigns, or opportunities.
- Your reports show outdated or missing data.
To better understand how field setup works across different Salesforce objects like Leads, Contacts, and Accounts, we recommend reviewing the Salesforce Field Setup article.
Start Refresh — where to find it
To begin, go to the Utilities and Debug section in your Insentric workspace, Admin view. Click the Refresh Object and Asset Information button.
After you click the button, you’ll see a list of items you can refresh. For example, if you’re connected to Marketo, you might see options like Forms and Opportunities, each with its own refresh button.
Click the Refresh button next to the item you want to update. The refresh usually takes a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on the size of the update.
Confirm Refresh — how to check
To make sure the refresh was successful:
- You’ll see a “Data Refreshed Successfully!” message pop up on your screen.
- You’ll also see that the “Last successful data refresh” time has been updated for the object.
